Ati Annang
International, the heartbeat of Anang nation has inaugurated its New
International Executive officers. The event took place on the eve of
Valentine's Day , Saturday (13/02/16) at a vibrant Annual General Meeting (AGM)
which took place at Godswill Akpabio Hall, Ukana, Essien Udim LGA Akwa
Ibom State.

The immediate past
Deputy International President, Barr Paul Idio, immediate past International
Vice President Diaspora, Barr Uduak Ukpeh, immediate past International

Idongesit Ntekpere are now Board Of Trustees (BOT) Members. The immediate
past President serves as BOT Secretary.
The International
president proposed the formation of the student wing of the organization
and the completion of Ati Secretariat.
The event was graced
by His Excellency Governor of Akwa Ibom state, Udom Emmanuel represented by the
Deputy Governor, Obong Moses Ekpo. The President of Mboho Mkparawa
Ibibio, Obong Monday EtokAkpan led other socio-cultural organizations in their
full regalia to the ceremony; Ifigh Iwaad Ekid and Esu Nlab Oro, to show
solidarity to Ati Annang. Other personalities who graced the occasion included;
Elder Ben Udobia, Engr Sam Inyang, transition chairmen of Essien, Hon C. Udo,
transition chairman Abak, Bar Emmanuel Udosen, that of Ikot Ekpene, Unyime Etim
and Nsit Ubiom among many others.
Scholarships were
awarded to 100 undergrads, and backpacks with books and other school items were
issued to about 200 Primary School children in annang Land to help support the
free education policy of His Excellency, the Governor of Akwa Ibom State.
Other highlights of
the event included traditional dances, comedy show and life band. In fact, it
was a whole day event that came to an end at about 1.00am in the morning.
